I grew up in the area and remember the old skool Scotties cheese steaks on Jefferson, they were legendary. Jim's sandwich is a damn good cheese steak. Whenever I go home to Buffalo I make it a priority to get 2 of them.

Buffalo Chicken sub was so good and the DoorDash delivery was super quick, but $17 for this is crazy.

Best damn food on elmwood. I came in late at night feining for some food I was walking home to my apartment and boom there it was. Jim's steak out neon lights outside, the smell coming through the door just drew me in. So there I was pondering what I was going to get as I turn to the counter I'm greeted by the manager Frank he didn't stress when I went to ask for a larger cup after I already paid didn't even charge. After I order I was able to sit text my friend and I was promptly alerted when my food was ready came home to extra fries in my bag and dug in 10/10 if I could give this 6 stars I would.

I don't order Jim's often, but when I do, it's because I'm feeling some type of way... a feeling that only a sub and some crispy fries could cure. This location is nearest to my apartment so I ordered from here for delivery recently. My order was simple: a six inch ham sub (roll double toasted, because that's the right way to do it) and a regular-sized order of fries. After ordering it took about 20-25 minutes for my food to get delivered to me which wasn't bad at all. My food came exactly as ordered, even the double-toasted roll, and they didn't go light on the toppings, which I appreciated. The fries were perfectly crisp too, which I wasn't expecting since it's usually pretty common to get soggy fries when you order takeout. Their menu is pretty extensive -- tacos, steak hoagies, chicken fingers. Whatever you're craving, they've got it, and it'll hit the spot. It's not too steeply priced either! When I order from Jim's, I'm not expecting a gourmet meal. Just a nice little dinner to cure my daylight saving's time blues. It works every time!

On a business trip to Buffalo, Jim's Steakhouse was recommended to me. My bf and I ordered the Jefferson (steak and sausage, cheese, onions, Jim's secret sauce) and the poutine (Colby cheese and gravy). We also got a cookie- so soft and a sugar waffle - crispy, soft, and warm. It was all delicious!
